Craigs background is in engineering and welding. Having left school at seventeen he decided to become an apprentice at his fathers engineering business based in Kelso, Scottish Borders. Having completed his apprenticeship and continually developing his skills as an engineer and fabricator he decided to try something a little different to what they would usually produce in the workshop. Craig started to produce bespoke sculpture and furniture mostly using highly polished stainless steel. The reaction was great. Since my first works he has continually set challenges to produce sculpture and design that has an impact in its environment. Every piece is handmade and designed in house, always using traditional craft skills to produce the works. This is what give Craig such great satisfaction.
