Changing With The Times: How Robertson Fine Art Are Adapting To This Current Climate.

This is arguably one of the most unusual and of course, unsettling periods in our time due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and small businesses like ourselves have been especially hit hard as a result of new restrictions, shutdowns and understandable customer unease. It is a difficult time for many, but now more than ever we want the opportunity to continue to present our customers with stand out artwork and an exceptional service today and for many years to come -  so we have pushed on, pulled up our socks and moved as quickly as possible to adapt our business and keep services relevant during this period of uncertainty.

We wanted to take this time to share some of the key features and extra services we will be offering over the coming weeks, that will hopefully not only help us to stay connected with you all, but will also allow you stay safe and keep experiencing our artwork and supporting our business all from the comfort of your own home.

You Can Continue To Support Us With A Gift Voucher...

Even if you are not in the market at the moment or you are maybe waiting on an upcoming release, you can continue to support us right now by purchasing a Robertson Fine Art Gift Voucher - these are valid for one year and can be used exclusively in both our Glenrothes and Edinburgh galleries (on all artwork and homeware) and in our Art Cafe. These would also make an ideal gift for anyone who loves our business that has a birthday or anniversary coming up over the coming weeks. You can purchase our gift voucher here

Subscribe To Our YouTube Channel...

We have worked round the clock to transform our YouTube channel so we can bring you a whole host of new video content, including 'virtual views' of artworks and digital walk throughs of our gallery spaces. We have created this feature not only help you feel like you are right there experiencing it in person with us, but also to provide you with close up shots featuring textures, embellishments and frame choice on a range of artworks that may be overlooked or hard to spot on our standard web-images. We will be making these videos a key feature across our entire website in the coming months - but whilst we manage this you can subscribe to our channel here

Those Empty Walls At Home Driving You Mad? We Can Help...

Self isolating and staring at empty walls might be difficult! If you provide us a few images of a room or area you are looking to fill with beautiful works of art - we can superimpose any of our pieces into that space for you to give you a clearer idea of what the end result will look like. We can even re-create the walls across your entire home if this is something you want! This way, you can be sure that every artwork will be the right fit for you and your decor when you finally get it home.

We also provide samples of our main collection of frame mouldings in our galleries, however we have access to over 200 types of frames and can also create mock ups for you and email these over to you if you are looking to reframe a piece or the current frame doesn't quite match your interior design.
Email your images to edinburgh@robertsonfineart.com to get started today!

Our 'Dates For Your Diary' Have Changed...

As expected, due to the current situation we will unfortunately have to postpone some of our upcoming events and exhibitions and this will mean re-arranging dates for later in the year. We will continue to keep you updated with all the latest information as we go through the weeks however we can let you know now that we have unfortunately had to make the decision to postpone our upcoming personal appearance and exhibition on Saturday the 4th of April With Katy Jade Dobson. We will strive to get Katy here at some point in the year (Hopefully at the end of summer) and we will be sure to keep you updated as these plans develop.

Katy is still scheduled to go ahead with her collection launch on the same day and will take the necessary steps to make the collection more easily accessible for you all during this time. This will include PDF formats of all the works, studio walk through's and video's of Katy discussing each work. More information on this to follow but you can register your interest in her new collection by emailing us at edinburgh@robertsonfineart.com.
This will be another key feature we will continue to roll out for our other artists, depending on the circumstances as we go through the coming months.

A Final Note From Us...

As we have mentioned, we are a small local business - a family run company who have spent years working hard to establish the incredible reputation our galleries and cafe have now. We have built these businesses up from warehouses and empty spaces, to what they are today. We will of course we will remain positive in these times but we do not see everything we have put our heart and souls into go backwards. We are aware this situation is not ideal, but we will continue to work tirelessly to make use of the strong online presence we have created so you can go ahead and stay safe at home and shop with us, from your sofa.
